Please read these terms carefully before using Staywala. They outline the rules and expectations for guests, hosts, and all users of our platform.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Staywala ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. The service
Staywala provides an online marketplace connecting guests with hosts offering accommodation and luggage storage. We do not own, operate, or control listed properties or storage facilities. Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for delivering the services described.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform unless permitted by applicable law with parental consent.
4. Bookings and payments
Booking requests are subject to host approval. Prices, availability, and house rules are set by hosts. Payment terms, cancellation policies, and refunds will be communicated at the time of booking and may vary by listing. Staywala may facilitate payments but is not a party to the rental or storage agreement between you and the host.
5. Host and guest responsibilities
Guests must treat properties and storage spaces with respect, follow house rules, and comply with local laws. Hosts must provide safe, accurately described spaces and respond to booking requests in good faith. Harassment, discrimination, illegal activity, or misrepresentation may result in account suspension.
6. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the Platform for fraud, spam, scraping without permission, reverse engineering, or any purpose that violates law or third-party rights. Listings must not advertise illegal services or misleading information.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Staywala is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or from interactions with hosts or guests. Our total liability for any claim related to the Platform is limited to the fees you paid to Staywala for the relevant booking in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our privacy practices. We collect and process personal data as needed to operate accounts, bookings, and support. Contact us if you have questions about how your data is handled.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for operational reasons. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.
